Oh well. It happens to the best of us, right?
Please pardon my photography. I wasn't able to take a photo in daylight, but I wanted to share it for WIP Wednesday anyway, as it's rather rare I have something substantial to show. I put some filters and crap on it to try camouflage the fact that I live in a cave, but to no avail. We'll all survive this assault of bad photography though, I hope. :)
Also: I would like to look into embroidering my quilt labels rather than using marker. I've never done much embroidery, so it's all a bit new to me. Anyone have any good beginner resources, or at least a hint of what kind of stitch would be good for someone to learn who wanted to "write" words? Thanks in advance!

I love those colors!!! I end up doing the same thing with tabling a project that is almost completed. That's how I bound and finished two quilts this week. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so good! I drag my feet at the tail end of a project too. In fact, I have had one on my floor for two months that only needs me to sew on the last 4 rows! :D
ReplyDeleteIt must look more complicated than it is? Great finish
ReplyDeleteIt's looking so great!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt top. If yo want to use some highlight effect on your pictures you can use pic monkey for editing (free) and pretend you live in a room flooded with light? I have had fabric labels made, so not sure about embroidery resources,. But I am sure google will help?
ReplyDeleteOooh, I like that design. Just a little twist on simple sashed blocks and it looks great!
